A woman was hit by two cars and killed while crossing U.S. 19 Friday night, and the Florida Highway Patrol is looking for the drivers that left the scene. FHP says 53-year-old Geraldine Ford was walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of Moog Road and U.S. 19 around 10:45 p.m. Friday. She was struck by a dark colored pickup truck

and then run over by a red or white car that was traveling in the same direction. Troopers say neither vehicle stopped after hitting Ford. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol at 727-841-4181, ext. 173.
