Here’s a happy ending for the hawk story. We’re talking about the Cooper’s hawk that spent the night in a Wellington hardware store. The big bird flew in Sunday just after lunchtime, reports palmbeachpost .com “We had the doors open because it’s cool outside,” assistant manager Brandi Quigley Quigley recalled Monday morning. night. “He slept fine last night,” Quigley said Monday. “He’s in the same spot he was.” But finally, a volunteer from a nonprofit organization captured the bird and took it to a wooded area.
