Tom Brady’s injured finger could be a break for the Dolphins

MIAMI GARDENS – Patriot quarterback Tom Brady’s injured ring finger on his throwing hand has been the NFL’s hot topic this morning. It remains to be seen whether Brady is 100 percent when the Dolphins look to slow down the AFC’s leading offense and keep their playoff hopes alive. Brady looks OK during warm-ups, but has been fiddling with his throwing hand. Las Vegas oddsmakers aren’t taking any chances. A number of sports books have dropped the game today. The betting line has been dropping steadily this week, going from

6 1/2 to 3 points in some cases. This has raised speculation that Brady injured his finger earlier in the week, even during New England’s 38-17 loss Monday night at New Orleans. ESPN reports Brady sustained the injured during Friday’s practice. Either way, it could be a break for the Dolphins. Brady threw for three touchdowns had a season-high passer rating of 110.7 during New England’s 27-17 win Nov. 8 in Foxboro.
