Thieves target Tampa cigar shop

As D.C. Goutoufas sets up for business on Tuesday morning, his mind is on cleaning up and helping Tampa police catch the men that burglarized his cigar shop. “They cut through a wiring system that was a keyless entry pad as well as an alarm system,” TPD spokesperson Andrea Davis said. Two burglars broke into Gaspar’s Cigar Shoppe in South Tampa Friday night, police said. They broke through drywall and busted up doors. “It’s definitely very odd that they knew where the office space was,” Davis said. “Obviously that was a door but what was on the other side of the office space.” Surveillance cameras show the men stealing several bottles of liquor and a flat screen TV.
