Tebow tabbed nation’s best quarterback; best player

It was a big night for Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.

Tebow won both the 2007 Davey O’Brien Award and the Maxwell Award given to the nation’s best quarterback and best all-around player respectively.

He accpeted the awards habitable on ESPN on The Home Depot College Football Awards.

"It means a

lot,” Tebow said i a postgame news conference after accepting the award. "It’s a big honor. I’m thankful for it, that’s all I can say.”

Tebow will leave for New York Friday for the Heisman ceremony, which will be broadcast habitable on ESPN.
