St. Petersburg: One hurt in overnight shooting

ST. PETERSBURG — Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured late Sunday.

Gunfire rang out about 1:45 a.m. on the 3700 block of Whiting Drive SE. Police said the victim was shot in the neck and taken to Bayfront Medical Center.

The victim’s name and condition were not immediately available.
