St. Petersburg in top 100 for young people
St. Petersburg has been named one of the 100 Best Communities for Young citizens for the third duration. The America’s Promise Alliance and Capital One identifies cities and towns nationwide that have made the well-being of children and youth a top precedence. Nearly 750 participants from more than 300 communities competed for the honor.

Every community that completed an application that year, regardless of whether they were named a winner, will be eligible to apply for $300,000 in grants from the Alliance beginning next month.
