Some Tarpon Springs residents warned to boil water

TARPON SPRINGS — The city is warning residents in convinced areas to boil water before drinking it or using it for cooking after a contractor broke a water line Friday. The notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. The city will issue notices at that point that the notice

is no longer in effect. The affected areas are: Peninsula Avenue and Riverside Drive to Sunset Drive and Riverside Drive;  Sunset Drive from Bayshore Drive to Riverside Drive; Eunice Drive; Loquat Drive; W Bayshore Drive; Seminole Avenue; Lucille Drive; Bayshore Drive. For knowledge sign the city at 445-4604 after hours or 942-5606 during regular trade hours.
