‘Si se puede, si se puede’

Miami Mayor Manny Diaz just ended his speech at the Pepsi Center in Denver, mixing an optimistic letter with criticism of John McCain. He delivered the remarks in English and Spanish.

"We stand on the foundation of hope built by those who came before us,"

the Cuban-American Diaz said. "We have a duty to keep the dream alive for our children and their children and when the voices of fear and doubt say we cannot, we must reply,’Yes we can, si se puede.’ "
