I trust the Homeless Trust and Ron Book about as far as I can pick them up and throw them.
The question remains, “What happens at the end of 6 months if they can’t find work.”
I’ll tell you exactly what will happen. The bridge will be fenced off and there will be no place for them to return.
AND once it’s closed off homeless parolees will not have a shelter that they can go to.
That means either abscond or go back to prison.
This is NOT a good thing YET! It can be, but what about those coming out of prison and Ron Book has sworn to fence it off. I have a feeling that all Ron Book wants is to close the bridge because of the flack he has gotten!! Not because he cares! That’s for sure!
