School boundary maps available on-line

TAMPA — Maps of the proposed boundary changes affecting seven schools all through Hillsborough County are now available on the school district’s Website.

Sgt. Paul Smith Middle School in northwestern Hillsborough and Doris Ross Reddick Elementary in the south are scheduled to open in August 2008.

The new schools will help the county meet the state’s mandate to

reduce course sizes by shuffling students at Davidsen, Farnell, Martinez, Walker and Webb middle schools in the north and Cypress Creek and Wimauma elementary schools in the south.

The School Capacity Advisory Council link plus has capacity reports, agendas, additional contact knowledge and boundaries assembly minutes.
