Report: Linebacker Matt Roth said “falling out” led to Dolphins’ decision to cut him
Three days after the Dolphins released him, outside linebacker Matt Roth said the organization soured on him because of his groin injury. Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer caught up with Roth on Friday in the Browns locker room. Roth, who signed with Cleveland on Wednesday, admitted he “was excited” when the Dolphins cut him loose. “Sometimes when you get hurt, people don’t get happy,” he told Cabot . “We had a good relationship until the injury.” Roth, a second-round pick in 2005, said he is healthy and ready for the next chapter of his career. “I’m done with that page,” he said. “I want to be a great player
