It started with a sex video. It ended with a dead man. The story: A 38-year-old construction supervisor told Lakeland cops he killed an East Lakeland man while trying to protect his teenage girlfriend’s reputation, reports theledger.com. DENISE BRADSHAW / the Ledger Joey Delbert Midgett went to 36-year-old Jonas Ward’s house to retrieve a videotape of Ward and Denise Bradshaw, Midgett’s girlfriend, having sex. Ward refused to hand over the tape and, next thing you know, he lay dead near the front door of his house with a .45-caliber slug through his head. JONAS WARD / the Ledger A few weeks earlier, 27, Bradshaw, 19, told cops that Ward had

raped her. Ward admitted giving her some drugs and having sex but said Bradshaw had consented and had a videotape and photographs to prove it. Cops looked at the tape and determined there was no rape though Bradshaw disagreed. And she told her boyfriend who vowed to see Ward and “get that filth.” You already heard what happens next. One more tale of sex, lies and videotape. More FloriDUH Update from FloriDUH headquarters: Because the Spam bot is such a pest, it’s taking longer for yourFlorida to post. Hang with us.
