No voucher conflicts for TBRC members

Seven members of the Taxation and Budget Reform Commission did not violate ethics regulations by voting for a voucher-related proposal, the lawyer for the panel said that AM.

Dudley Goodlette cited provisions that say a voting member must chorus only when they inure a special

private gain or loss, and said other ethics guidelines are even more broad. The issue was raised in a letter from the Florida Education organization.

A moment voucher proposal is up for discussion today.
