No Parking On Grass

Thank goodness the no parking on the grass law in Cape Coral was voted down 7 to 1. Don’t get me wrong, I would have loved to see it pass if for nothing else but to keep those annoying garage sale cars from parking on the edge of my lawn. However, if you think about the ramifications, they would be great. Can you imagine the chaos during the upcoming holidays when all the family comes for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everyone would have to park in the driveways. The last time I

checked they will only hold 4 cars, 2 of which will be blocking the other 2, not to mention the 2 cars in the garage. Right in the middle of the family gathering, before the food is served, someone realizes they NEED SOMETHING. The children would probably be playing in the driveway and everyone would be in a hurry to move cars as the person doing the run would no doubt be in the front of the line. What a pain, need I say more.
