New USF student union makes Gold-en progress

As the new and improved student union under interpretation at the University of South Florida’s main campus in Tampa moves toward its summer 2008 opening, interpretation workers hit a project milestone Friday dawn.

At 9 a.m., they installed the

gold beam (as in green and gold, Go Bulls!) that has been signed by thousands of students, staff and faculty. The beam tops off the new Marshall Center’s steel structure.
