New Tampa parent assembly canceled

Parents at New Tampa’s Clark Elementary School have canceled a town corridor assembly scheduled for tonight considering no School Board members planned to come, said organizer Suzanne Sloss. The parents had planned to air their grievances about a Hillsborough County School District

proposal to bus hundreds of students from Shaw and Witter elementaries, crowded high-poverty schools, into Clark and Hunter’s Green Elementary, which are under capacity.
