NAACP opposes baggy pants bill

NAACP State President Adora obi Nweze is coming to Tallahassee on Friday to publicly oppose the baggy-pants bill, which passed the Senate final week. The bill, which bans students from wearing baggy pants in schools on penalty of suspension, was

sponsored by Sen. Gary Siplin and Sen. Larcenia Bullard.

The NAACP has decided to take their opposition public, after a assembly of their executive committee final week, a spokesman said.
