Missing man’s truck spotted by witness in Lakeland

A witness spotted a truck in Lakeland Wednesday morning that belonged to a man who disappeared on April 3 and may have been traveling to Tampa to visit his daughter, police say. The gold 1997 Chevy S-10 pickup truck with the Georgia Tag ATL-9105 was registered to Brandon Patton, a executive chef who was last seen in Georgia. The witness told police the truck was parked at the in the area of the 900 block of Vistabula Street at 9:15 a.m. and men were

selling meat out of a freezer in the truck's bed, according to Lakeland Police. Police said  the witness did not report the truck immediately but took down the license plates and recognized the vehicle tag on the news.
