Mexicans in North Cuba?

That’s Mexican FOOD actually, at Rocco’s Taco’s. Having recently opened the upscale food and tequila bar is drawing crowds and strong positive reviews.

I have sampled the aura twice, and both times I had an excellent experience. Even during the height of dinner hour the service was excellent. With the exception of forgetting out dinner utensils after the appetizer, our waitress was perfect.

Even better, the food was reasonably priced and drinks were fair (for downtown). Food portion was small for the average person but those

in the know can think of “tapas” when ordering. My friend ordered a Salad and that was fairly large and very sharable. Despite not being on menu our customized salad was delivered, no hassles, no questions asked. Pomegranate margaritas added an upscale flavor to the more traditional Mexican flair offered.

Being in a good location definitely helps that bar {located where the French restaurant La’occtaine used to be,} but it’s the service and nice authentic food that seals the deal.
