GREAT THINGS TO DO IN LEE COUNTY

Hello everyone and welcome to Southwest Florida.

I would like to tell you about a few places of interest that I would have appreciated someone telling me when I moved here. First, lets explore the wonderful world of food and spirits. When you are sitting around on Sunday trying to figure out what to do for fun think about taking a nice drive to Sanibel/Captiva. If you drive all the way to the end of Captiva not only is it a beautiful lazy drive you can stop along the way at the little shops tucked away on the side streets. There are some wonderful clothes and artwork to see native to this area. You might want to have lunch at “The Bubble Room”. Their deserts are decadent and at least 12″ high (the cakes that is). The atmosphere is very casual, the food is

great, especially the “She Crab Soup” and there are alot of amusing things to see inside the restaurant. Have a great time and look for my next article with more tidbits of where to go and what to see. Also, you can drop me a line and ask about places and things and I will do my best to guide you in the right direction. I have to warn you though, my taste runs a bit on the expensive side. I do love the finer things.
