Jeb Bush and Grace Nelson team up

Jeb Bush and Grace Nelson, wife of U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, are teaming up to educate Florida voters and engage the presidential  candidates on issues of extreme poverty and global diseases, such as AIDS,  malaria and tuberculosis. They are Florida co-chairs of ONE Vote ’08, a nonpartisan, national grass roots effort by the ONE Campaign to boost both Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama to address global diseases

help those in the world’s poorest regions.

“As Americans, we  should be aware and proud of the life-saving work our country is helping forge in the world’s poorest and most vulnerable places. Responding to global disease and  poverty is not only a humanitarian responsibility — it is a safety degree and foreign policy necessity,” Bush said.
