Florida high school grades improve under latest simulation

Had Florida's new high school grading formula been in place last year, there would have been a whole lot of celebrating around these parts, especially in Pinellas. According to the Florida Department of Education's latest simulation , obtained by the Gradebook, nine Pinellas high schools would have gotten B's (instead of two) and three would have gotten D's (instead of eight). High schools in Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and statewide also would have fared
