Fatal RV fire in Tampa

One person is dead after reportedly being trapped in an RV that caught fire early Saturday morning. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived at 6703 Chattin Road just before 3 a.m. to find a 10-by-25 foot RV engulfed in flames. Firefighters were told of a possible victim trapped inside. Investigators say an autopsy will be conducted on Sunday. They believe

the victim, whose identity has not been released, had lived in the RV for approximately 10 years. The fire and related death are currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Hillsborough County Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
