Dolphins starters Channing Crowder and Jason Ferguson doubtful for Patriots’ game
The Dolphins could face the hottest offense in football without two veteran starters. Linebacker Channing Crowder (shoulder) and Jason Ferguson (elbow) are listed as doubtful, or as having a 25-percent chance of playing, when Miami visits Tom Brady and the New England Patriots Sunday. The Patriots have scored 94 points in the past two games led by Brady’s nine-TD passes. Crowder entered last weekend as doubtful, but was downgraded as “out” for the Jets game. Back-up Reggie Torbor stepped in and made seven tackles, including four solo stops. But that doesn’t mean coach Tony Sparano is resting easy with Crowder on the sideline.
