Dolphins eyeing Georgia Tech’s Derrick Morgan
The draft is 41 days away, so a lot could change, but one NFL scout said the Dolphins are becoming increasingly interested in Georgia Tech’s Derrick Morgan. Morgan was considered a surefire top-10 pick a month ago, but as some players, like Maryland offensive tackle Bruce Campbell and USF’s Jason Pierre-Paul, have moved up, Morgan has dipped a bit to make room. The 6-foot-3, 266-pound Morgan could fall to No. 12 and the Dolphins, who’d move him from defensive end to 3-4 outside rush linebacker. Derrick Morgan would play outside linebacker in Miami.
