Crist lands with a big thud in California

So writes a columnist for the Orange County Register, who sat through the governor’s fund-raising speech to the Orange County Republicans Friday night. Columnist Frank Mickadeit says Crist managed to pack "two major gaffes and a cliche-ridden anecdote" into

a nine-minute speech. The writer plus faults Crist’s "advance team" for not telling him that among bedrock conservatives in O.C., Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t popular. Read for yourself.
