Cops: Man shot wife while training for robbery scenarios

Brevard County authorities said a man accidentally shot his wife in the chest in Cocoa on Sunday morning while the couple was training for robbery scenarios, reports WKMG News in Orlando. Arnold Morris pulled his small-caliber handgun out of his pocket during the drill and it accidentally discharged, shooting his 72-year-old wife, Patricia Morris, in the chest, according to WKMG news.

Arnold Morris provided medical attention until the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Rescue arrived. She underwent surgery and is expected to recover, reports WKMG News. The Morrises have been married for 54 years. Sounds like the should practice a first aid drill. More FloriDUH
