Cops: Carjackers forced man to strip

A man and a woman face multiple charges, including armed carjacking, following a high-speed chase through the streets of Daytona Beach early Tuesday. Darshawn A. Broadwater and Jerrica Nicole Myles, both 19, are accused of armed carjacking, armed robbery and resisting arrest without violence, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Broadwater also faces charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding and knowingly driving with a suspended license. Johnny Watson told police he had just pulled into the driveway of a Daytona Beach home shortly after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday when two people approached and one pointed a gun at his head. He was ordered to remove his pants, shoes and wallet, Daytona Beach Police Officer Nicholas Gurucharri said in an arrest affidavit. The pair then jumped into Watson’s 1996 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and fled the crime scene, leaving Watson standing in the driveway in his underwear.
