Controversial guard Richie Incognito to visit Miami Dolphins
Incognito The Dolphins’ interior offensive line could be getting deeper – and a good bit nastier – during the next day or two. The team is scheduled to host guard Richie Incognito tonight and Tuesday, an NFL source confirmed. The source said Incognito is finishing up a visit to Cincinnati today. Incognito, 26, is an undeniable talent, but also has carved out a reputation as one of the NFL’s most unpredictable and volatile players. The Miami Herald first reported the Dolphins’ interest in Incognito. In 2009 with St. Louis, Incognito had two personal fouls in two separate games, leading the Rams to cut him on Dec. 15. Two days earlier, Incognito head-butted two Tennessee Titans players during a 47-7 loss and eventually was fined $50,000. The previous season, Incognito was fined $35,000 for three separate incidents during a game against the Redskins, including a personal foul for verbally abusing a game official, a facemask penalty and an illegal chop block.
