Coast Guard airlifts man from cruise ship

An 80-year-old-man was airlifted from a cruise ship after apparently suffering a heart attack, Coast Guard officials said.

A Coast Guard helicopter arrived about 5:30 p.m., lowered a rescuer to the ship and hoisted Caesar Reyes to the chopper. The 915-foot

ship, called the Grandeur of the Seas, is based in Tampa, but it’s unknown where Reyes is from.

He was taken to Tampa General Hospital.
