Channing Crowder once again absent from Dolphins workout
Channing Crowder remained out but fellow linebacker Quentin Moses returned to practice as the Dolphins continued preparations for Thursday night’s preseason finale at Dallas Monday with a workout on their outside practice fields. Crowder watched last week’s three days of practice from the sidelines with an undisclosed injury; this week, he hasn’t been on the premises for either of the two workouts, with one more coming up Tuesday. Moses also missed practice all last week with what is believed to be a groin injury but was back in action. Moses may need a solid performance Thursday to hold off younger challengers for a spot on the 53-man roster, which will be set Saturday. Nate Garner, Will Allen and Joey Haynos were also nowhere to be seen.
