Cape Coral becoming a Ghost Town

Have you heard, it is almost Halloween and along with the season in Fort Myers/Cape Coral Florida there is a foreboding that we are becoming a real ghost town.  I have begun to send out some of the seasonal packages and noticed that there was an abundance of what appeared to be early senders.  As I talked with the owner of the UPS store I do business with, I discovered that in fact they were not at all packages stuffed with Christmas goodies for those relatives we cannot see over the holidays or they are out of the country, they were actually packing up real estate, mortgage and title

professionals moving to other states due to the severe downturn in the local real estate market.  I was told they are moving to Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina as these are the new hot markets.
