Businessman finishes way ahead of Bogdanoff and other political veterans in fundraising competition

Florida Senate candidate Nick Loeb, who’s never been elected to office before, raised an eye-popping $238,905 for his campaign in the last three months — more than double the $100,076 raised by the three other candidates, all political veterans, combined. Loeb’s total for the last quarter puts him in the top tier of fundraisers among state Senate and House candidates. Only one Senate candidate, John Thrasher, a former House speaker turned prominent lobbyist, raised more. Broward Republican Chairman Chip LaMarca termed

Loeb’s fundraising performance “phenomenal.” Loeb, a Delray Beach business consultant, and state Reps. Ellyn Bogdanoff of Fort Lauderdale and Carl Domino of Jupiter, are seeking the Republican nomination for the 25th Senate District in Broward and Palm Beach counties. State Rep.
