Bucs release preseason schedule

A nationally televised game on the NFL Network against the AFC Champion New England Patriots highlights the Bucs’ 2008 preseason schedule.

After opening the preseason at Miami the week of Aug. 7-11, the Bucs return home to play the Patriots on Aug. 17.

Tampa Bay stays home to play Jacksonville the week

of Aug. 21-25 before wrapping up the preseason the week of Aug. 28-29 at Houston.

Ch. 8 will carry the Miami, Jacksonville and Houston games. The New England game, which will start at 8 p.m., marks the Bucs’ first-ever appearance on the NFL Network.
