Boynton Beach vice mayor is witness to incident

“He obviously wasn’t happy about the physical contact”

Vice Mayor Jose Rodriguez served as a witness to an alleged battery that occurred in commission chambers minutes before Tuesday’s City Commission meeting adjourned.

David Katz, a registered lobbyist in the city and a regular at City Commission meetings, filed criminal charges against Jonah Tennant, president of the newly formed Boynton Action Coalition neighborhood group.

Katz, who worked in Rodriguez’s election campaign last November, alleged that Tennant ‘put his hand on me’
