Black community leaders offer help to John Hopkins Middle

In the wake of rampant discipline problems , officials with the St. Petersburg chapter of the NAACP and several black ministers visited the school this morning to offer help. Superintendent Julie Janssen also showed

up, bringing top staff to meet with principal Claud Effiom and consider changes. Read more here .
