Bill to hike home insurance prices passed in Florida

The Florida House of Representatives approved legislation Friday that would increase almost all homeowner insurance rates statewide. “We are one storm away from bankrupting this whole state,” Rep.

Alan Hays, R-Umatilla, told lawmakers. All property and automobile insurance policyholders in Florida pay fees to offset deficits in state entities Citizens and Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.insurance

All these companies are getting raises in their fees and bailouts left and right while the freaking worker bee can’t hardly get an hour of OT, much less some don’t even have a job at all!People can’t pay the mortgages they have and now lets add on some new higher insurance premiums to hike up that mortgage a little more! So, who’s got life insurance……

I read about this on another blog and it just seems like the bills that are passed aren’t to favor the civilians in any financial benefit at all, which is a shame.
