Beach Tax Attorneys Post Ruling

Again, Judge Michael Jones has ruled on the beach tax lawsuit . The news is not good for any leaseholders except seven individuals. Jones ruled they are “exempt” from taxes on the narrowest of grounds: they won a 1987 case challenging an earlier county effort to tax beach residents. The tax ruling has been posted here by plaintiffs’ attorneys.

(Scroll down and click on the case name .) They add, “Plaintiffs in this law suit can expect to hear more details on the ruling and future action in the very near future.” That’s for sure. Like, when Escambia County Commissioners hit everybody up for interest.
