‘Balloon Boy’ and family land — in Florida

Remember Falon Heene aka “Balloon Boy” and all the frenzy created when his father, Richard Heene, claimed he floated away in a giant homemade UFO-shaped helium balloon in Fort Collins, Colorado last October? It was a big hoax. Hours later, authorities learned Falcon had been hiding in the garage. The parents pulled the hoax in hopes of scoring a reality TV show. They didn’t land the reality show — but they landed up in Florida, where they have family, reports the St. Petersburg Times . Richard Heene, the father at the center of the infamous “Balloon Boy” hoax in Colorado last year, has moved to Bradenton with his family. Heene, who is a felon after pleading guilty to charges related to the hoax, had his mug shot and fingerprints today. Felons moving to a county in Florida are requited to do so, reports the St. Petersburg Times. He listed his job as general contractor, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, and he gave an address east of Bradenton in the Lakewood
