Ball python hitches ride on SUV

It must be the hissing of summer snakes… Bob Zagorski served in Vietnam, where he ran into king cobras. He’s seen rattlesnakes, coral snakes and rat snakes around his Hobe Sound yard. But he never expected to find a ball python on the running board of his SUV. The snake hitched a ride on Zagorski’s vehicle. He and his neighbors shooed it into a garbage can and waited for Animal Control to

arrive, reports TCPalm.com. The 3-foot long snake is now resting comfortably at the Treasure Coast Wildlife Center. Workers there say it appears healthy and likely hasn’t been in the wild long.
