Ave Maria University: No pants for women

By at 10 March, 2010, 8:15 am

Ave Maria University is a Catholic university located near Naples that was founded by Tom Monaghan, a philanthropist and the retired founder of Domino’s Pizza. The school has just announced a new dress code for female employees that bans pants or slacks, unless the employee is traveling. Male staff members are required to wear suits. But male faculty are required to

wear at least a jacket and tie, with suits preferred, reports the Naples Daily News . The new rules take effect this August. Maybe the higher powers at this university want to let everyone know just who is wearing the pants. Photo: AveMaria.edu More FloriDUH
