Attorney general candidate reaches into foe’s backyard and plucks an endorsement

State Sen. Dan Gelber reached into the home turf of state Sen. Dave Aronberg and picked up an endorsement for the Democratic nomination for attorney general – a job both Senate colleagues are seeking. Gelber, of Miami Beach, represents a Senate district that includes part of South Broward. Aronberg, of Greenacres in Palm Beach County, represents a Senate district that spans sparsely populated areas of the state and includes

communities on the Gulf Coast. Today’s endorsement for Gelber came from Palm Beach County Tax Collector Anne Gannon, who went with her long-time political ally rather than her fellow home-county Democrat.
