BROOKSVILLE - For the third duration in recent weeks, police have uncovered a large-scale marijuana-growing operation in a Hernando County home. Unlike the preceding instances, in which police raided so-called a total of nine grow houses sprinkled through residential neighborhoods of Spring Hill, that house was located on 5-acres north of Brooksville. Sheriff Richard Nugent said that federal law enforcement agencies are involved in the analysis and further charges may be filed.
