Cities are places for walkers, that means, folks who walk on the street, not the “older” citizens with walkers. Some of those who walk have to have their own style of walking shoes or in the case of the younger/sk8boarders set they have to have the freshest sneakers.

If you are of that set you may want to push on down to Sole Estate, located at 513 Clematis street just west of the yet to be completed Taj Majal (city center). Featured in the store are the sneakers, all of them works of art designed for the skateboarder/hip hop set and those who pretend they belong,

as well as actual skateboards and a large number of T-shirts that even non-skateboarders could get absent with, even me perhaps.

The party club set should enjoy that store as well, there is a full DJ turntable just for show (maybe soon for play?) and all the club magazines and notices and what not are all by the place. It’s a place that will show you where all the places to go are. The hours are late too, to match the hours of our downtown party society.

In short the place is high on Hip and big in style.
