Ammons talks to law faculty

FAMU President James Ammons addressed law school faculty in person yesterday and, in the wake of final week’s visit by the American Bar Association’s accreditation review team, firmly reiterated his commitment to seeing that the school becomes fully accredited, sources tell the Gradebook.

But, the sources say, Ammons additionally mentioned concerns about collegiality, scholarship and

tensions amoung junior and senior faculty – concerns that seem to echo what some critics of the current law school capability structure have been saying (see preceding post here). Can anyone fill us in more? Or read the tea leaves here?
